RV Date: 08.18.21 Bahh Habahh

There are too many extra letters in the words around here!

We have been instructed, properly mind you, the pronunciation of certain words that are common in this area. For instance:

Bar Harbor - Bahh Habahh

Lobster - Labbsta or Lawbstaw or Labstah

So, they don't need any 'r' letters and A'm fairly certain the 'i' could go as well.

We drove to Bahh Habahh today and spent 45 minutes finding a pakking space. Strolled down the main street, gawking like the tourist we are. There were restaurants, bahs, candy shops and souvenir shops. We had a great time and picked up a few things. I got 2 new magnets, one of which is a pirate ship. (Bonus!!). I started collecting magnets a year or so ago and have a few pirate items. Oh man, I also got a book I can't wait to read. The Title: A Moose and a Lobster Walk into a Bar...

Terri picked out an awesome resteraunt for lunch. Outside on the top deck, against the far rail, we had a center table with an unobstructed view of the harbor. We pigged out on Creole Steamed shrimp for an appetizer, followed by delicious Lobster. Yummy!! (Homer agees, "mmmmmm more yummy lobster"). The only thing... our table didn't have an umbrella. Maybe because we had our tourist sun hats on, but I can't help wondering if that guy from Van Trapps called everyone and told them not to give us an umbrella.

Well, we wobbled back to the truck and now we have a nice campfire going, Tom Petty singing and the Killer Chihuahuas snuggled on my lap.

Oh, oh, oh (That's like p.s.s.) I found out that eating a whole Lobster was one of Terri's bucket list items. Learn something new everyday.
